About Our Approach

You deserve therapy that works for all of you

We work with adults and teens (15+) using an integrative approach. Mindfulness, somatic practices, relational therapy, and talk therapy woven together to help you feel more grounded, connected, and alive. No agenda, no rush. We start where you are.

What We Treat

Our core specialties

We use an integrative approach tailored to what you bring. These are the areas we most commonly work with.

Anxiety & Chronic Stress

Racing thoughts, physical tension, constant overwhelm. Anxiety is your nervous system asking for help. We use mindfulness-based CBT, nervous system regulation, therapeutic yoga, and somatic practices to help you find lasting calm.

Depression & Motivation

When life feels flat, heavy, or joyless, it can be hard to know where to start. We help you reconnect with what matters, gently rebuild energy and meaning, and develop a more compassionate relationship with yourself.

Relationships & Communication

Individual therapy is a powerful space to explore how you show up in relationships. Your patterns, attachment wounds, and relational needs. Healing your relationship with yourself changes everything else.

Life Transitions & Values

Career changes, loss, identity shifts, becoming a parent. Transitions can shake us loose from who we thought we were. We help you find your footing, clarify what matters, and move forward with intention.

Relationships in Individual Therapy

Your relationships are part of you

You do not have to be in couples therapy to work on your relationships. Individual therapy is one of the most powerful places to explore how you connect with others: your patterns, needs, wounds, and strengths.

Whether you are navigating a difficult partnership, healing from a painful relationship, working through family dynamics, or simply wanting to show up differently in the relationships that matter most, we can help.

● Boundaries, people-pleasing, and self-abandonment
● Healing from relationship wounds or painful endings
● Family-of-origin patterns and their present-day impact
● Loneliness, connection, and belonging
● Navigating ENM or polyamorous relationship structures
● Building deeper intimacy with yourself and others
How We Work

Our therapeutic approaches

We draw from a range of evidence-based methods and tailor each session to what feels most supportive for you.

Learn to observe anxious thoughts with curiosity rather than struggle, shifting your relationship to your mind rather than only its content.
Healing is not just cognitive. We work with the body through breath, sensation, and movement as a pathway to regulation and presence.
For those open to it, gentle yoga and breathwork can be integrated directly into sessions to deepen mind-body connection. Two of our therapists are Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT).
Healing happens in connection. We explore attachment patterns, interpersonal dynamics, and how your relationships shape your inner world.
All of our therapists offer outdoor walk and talk sessions in Ferndale for those who find connection in movement and being outside. Research shows that moving while talking can ease the intensity of difficult feelings.
We help you clarify what matters most and build a life of meaning by learning to move toward your values, even in the presence of difficulty.
