Racing thoughts, physical tension, constant overwhelm. Anxiety is your nervous system asking for help. We use mindfulness-based CBT, nervous system regulation, therapeutic yoga, and somatic practices to help you find lasting calm.
Learn more →When life feels flat, heavy, or joyless, it can be hard to know where to start. We help you reconnect with what matters, gently rebuild energy and meaning, and develop a more compassionate relationship with yourself.
Learn more →From attachment patterns to boundaries and belonging, we help you understand how you show up in relationships, heal relational wounds, and build deeper, more authentic connections with the people who matter most.
Learn more →Career changes, loss, identity shifts, becoming a parent. Transitions can shake us loose from who we thought we were. We help you find your footing, clarify what matters, and move forward with intention.
Learn more →We do not believe in one-size-fits-all healing. We draw from a range of approaches and tailor each session to what feels most supportive for you.
Learn to observe anxious thoughts with curiosity rather than struggle, shifting your relationship to your mind, not just its content.
Healing is not just cognitive. We work with the body through breath, sensation, and movement as a pathway to regulation and presence.
For those open to it, gentle yoga and breathwork can be integrated directly into sessions to deepen mind-body connection.
Healing happens in connection. We explore attachment patterns, interpersonal dynamics, and how your relationships shape your inner world.
Movement can unlock conversation. We offer outdoor walk and talk sessions in Ferndale for those who find stillness challenging.
We gently explore past experiences and patterns to understand how they shape the present, creating space for real, lasting change.

We accept in-network insurance, out-of-network insurance, and self-pay. HSA and FSA funds may be used for session fees. If you have insurance, we recommend calling your provider to confirm your behavioral health benefits before your first session. If none of our payment options are the right fit right now, free and low-cost therapy options are listed on our Resources page.
It is normal to feel uncertain about reaching out. Here is exactly what happens, step by step, so there are no surprises.
This is a no-pressure phone or video call to meet your therapist, share a little about what is bringing you in, and ask any questions you have. There is no commitment required. If it feels like a good fit, you move forward. If not, we will do our best to point you in the right direction.
Before your first appointment, we will help you understand what your insurance covers and what to expect to pay out of pocket. We accept Blue Cross Blue Shield, BCN, Aetna, and Priority Health, as well as self-pay. If you have questions about your specific plan, we recommend calling the member services number on your insurance card to ask about your behavioral health benefits before your intake session.
Your first session is where your therapist gets to know you: your history, what you are hoping to work on, and what has or has not helped in the past. If you are using insurance, your therapist will also complete a clinical assessment and provide a diagnosis, which is required for insurance billing. This is a standard part of the process and does not define you. It simply gives your therapist a framework and gives your insurance a billing code.
Most clients meet weekly or biweekly, typically for 55 minutes. Your therapist will work with you to find a frequency and pace that fits your schedule, your goals, and your budget. Therapy is not a fixed commitment. You and your therapist will check in regularly about how things are going and adjust the plan as needed. Many people find that after an initial phase of more frequent sessions, spacing out to biweekly or monthly feels right as things settle.
Our Ferndale therapists are committed to providing a knowledgeable, affirming, and non-judgmental space for every person.
Your free 15-minute consultation is a no-pressure conversation to see if we are the right fit.
