About Caitie

You're looking for something deeper than symptom relief.

You may be here because something inside you is stirring: questions, longings, discomfort. Maybe you've done therapy before, or maybe this is your first time. Either way, you're looking for something real.

I offer integrative, holistic therapy for people who want to feel more grounded, more connected, and more alive. My work is rooted in the belief that healing happens when we learn to listen, really listen, to ourselves. That includes our thoughts and emotions, but also our bodies, values, and inner wisdom.

I draw from mindfulness, somatic practices, Eastern philosophy, and talk therapy to help you explore what it means to live in alignment with what matters most to you.

Questions we might explore
"How can I find contentment in a world full of so much suffering?"
"What do I care about? How do I want to spend my life?"
"How can I listen to my body and trust what it's telling me?"
"How can I show myself the compassion I so easily give to others?"

I came to therapy and yoga through my own lived experience with the questions I now help others explore: about meaning, the body, and what it feels like to actually inhabit your own life. Outside of therapy, you'll find me on the mat, in nature, reading about philosophy, or in my garden with my backyard chickens (AKA "the girls").

How I work

An integrative, whole-person approach

Mindfulness & Somatic Practices

Healing is not just cognitive, it lives in the body. I integrate mindfulness, breathwork, and somatic awareness to help you develop a more trusting, attuned relationship with your own body and nervous system.

Therapeutic Yoga

For those open to it, therapeutic yoga can be woven directly into sessions, using gentle movement and breath as a doorway into deeper self-understanding, regulation, and connection.

Individual Therapy

I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, and the deeper existential questions about meaning, values, and identity. Sessions are shaped by what you bring.

Couples Counseling

Using the Gottman Method and attachment theory, I help couples move from disconnection toward clarity, closeness, and mutual support. Every relationship is different; we meet yours where it is.

About Courtney

Therapy is, most of all, a relationship.

My approach is grounded in trust and collaboration, honoring your lived experiences and inner wisdom. I meet each client with curiosity, empathy, and a flexible, personalized approach.

Some sessions may focus on building new skills and practical tools. Others may center on simply being heard in a space that welcomes all of who you are. There's no one-size-fits-all in therapy; we shape it together.

Questions we might explore
"How can I be more satisfied with my relationships?"
"How does my past affect my attachment style and self-talk?"
"How can I show myself more compassion?"
"What tools will help me feel more balanced and happy in life?"

If you feel called to find more peace, balance, and slowness in your life or in your relationship, I'd love to work with you. Outside of therapy, I am forever in pursuit of living my best cozy life with my husband and our dog.

How I work

Individual & Couples Therapy

Individual Therapy

We'll explore how your past has shaped your present: your patterns, your self-talk, your relationships. We'll work toward greater awareness and self-compassion so you can respond to life with more intention and ease.

Couples Therapy

Relationships are powerful mirrors, sites of deep healing, but also of old wounds and unspoken needs. I help couples develop better communication, rebuild trust, and strengthen emotional connection. Every relationship is different, and every session is an opportunity for new insight.

About Caitlin

Healing happens through presence, trust, and connection.

I provide individual therapy for adults and adolescents (15+) who are looking for meaningful change, greater self-understanding, and a more grounded connection to themselves.

Before beginning my clinical training, I worked as a Career Counselor and substitute teacher, roles that deepened my appreciation for each person's unique story and the many ways we strive to create purpose and connection. What I loved most in that work, and continue to love in therapy, is holding space for people to reflect, grow, and find solutions that truly fit them.

My approach

I believe that healing is not just cognitive; it lives in the body too. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, or relationship challenges, I'll meet you with warmth, curiosity, and respect. My approach is collaborative. I don't believe there's one right path for everyone, but I do believe that healing happens through presence, trust, and genuine connection.

Caitlin Estep therapist
Outside the office

I came to therapy after working alongside people navigating career transitions and finding their footing in the world. Those experiences taught me that growth rarely happens in a straight line, and that the most meaningful thing we can offer each other is genuine presence. Outside of therapy, you'll likely find me on a yoga mat or somewhere in nature.

How I work

A holistic, whole-person approach

Mind-Body Integration

I'm especially interested in how the mind-body connection supports personal growth, and I bring a gentle, holistic lens to my work. As a registered yoga teacher, I integrate mindfulness, movement, and breathwork into the therapeutic process for those who are open to it.

Walk & Talk Therapy

I offer Walk and Talk Therapy in Ferndale: gentle movement alongside conversation for those who find connection in being outside. Research shows that moving while talking can ease the intensity of difficult feelings and help thoughts flow more freely.
