Maybe you’ve done therapy before-or spent time reflecting, journaling, trying to figure things out on your own. But something still feels out of reach. You might long for a deeper connection with yourself or with others. Or maybe the idea of sitting and talking for an hour just doesn’t feel like the right fit.

At Middle Way Wellness, we offer a holistic approach to therapy that supports your whole self-mind, body, and spirit. We believe that healing happens in connection: with your body, with your emotions, and with the people in your life.

Our therapists integrate mindfulness, somatic practices, yoga, and meditation alongside talk therapy to help you:

  • Understand and heal attachment patterns

  • Learn how to communicate and feel your emotions-without being overwhelmed by them

  • Reflect on your relationships and deepen your ability to feel close to others

  • Build a more compassionate relationship with yourself

  • Find clarity, calm, and equanimity in the midst of life’s challenges

Inspired by Eastern philosophies, nervous system science, and relational therapy, we guide you in moving toward greater presence, self-awareness, and connection. We emphasize equanimity, presence, and lasting contentment-not just symptom relief.

Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, burnout, or a desire for greater meaning, we’re here to support you with care and curiosity.

Middle Way Wellness is a space to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and explore what it means to live in alignment.

Ways to Pay for Individual Therapy

  • It is your responsibility to learn your benefits and pay any out-of-pocket costs [just like you would with any other healthcare provider].

You can call your insurance company or visit their website to learn about your benefits.

A good question to ask: Does my deductible, co-pay, or co-insurance apply to behavioral health [codes 90837 and 90834]?

If you want to move forward with using insurance to pay for individual therapy, be sure to upload photos of the front and back of your insurance card AND an official ID (i.e. Driver’s License) to the client portal.

If you have an HSA of FSA, you CAN use these funds to pay for individual therapy expenses, but NOT for late cancellation fees.

  • You may qualify for reimbursement from your insurance company if you have Out-of-Network benefits for behavioral health.

You can call your insurance company or visit their website to learn about your benefits.

If you choose to move forward with this payment type for individual therapy, you will pay session fees at the time of service, then submit invoices to your insurance company for partial reimbursement. These invoices are provided to you by your therapist.

If you have an HSA of FSA, you can use these funds to pay for individual therapy expenses, but NOT for late cancellation fees.

  • If you have decided that you would like to move forward with therapy without using insurance, you will pay session fees at the time of service using a credit or debit card.

We offer sliding scale agreements for those who are struggling financially. Let us know in the consultation that you would benefit from sliding scale pricing.

Our goal is to be transparent about therapy fees and payment types so that you can make the best decision for YOU. Therapy is an investment in your mental health and can have a true impact on your quality of life. With that being said, we realize that not everyone can afford to pay for therapy out-of-pocket for a variety of reasons. To account for that, we work with insurance providers to reduce out-of-pocket costs to you.

If you decide that none of the payment options at Middle Way Wellness are suitable for you right now, we’ve listed free and low cost therapy options on the Resources Page.
